ABOUT THE ARTISTS AND THE CREATION OF THE DECK: The Mystics Oracle Deck is a Divine co-creation between love-instigator and artist Sarah Love McCoy and mystic mentor and intuitive guide, Lindsay Pera.
Lindsay had what would be considered a traditional suburban upbringing in Silicon Valley, but knew she was an intuitive and empath from a young age. After an early career in tech/software, she left the corporate world with her college sweetheart turned husband (he’s a firefighter who saves peoples’ lives!). They moved to a multi-generational homestead on the coast of Central California, where they are currently raising their three children and working to be closer to the earth and her natural rhythms. It was here that she came into deeper connection with the original ways and intuitive arts thru her mentors. Lindsay is the founder of the Mystics Society, author of the Mystics Path, an intuitive strategist, a mystic mama, and a “gratitude girl.”
The story of Sarah and Lindsay began with love. Sarah is the creator and artist behind the I Stand for Love Calendar (which you can purchase from our shop here) and the founder of a global movement called I Stand for Love Day, which takes place annually on 8/8. Between the instant resonance of Sarah’s message and the day being 8/8 (Lindsay’s fave number), the nudge was clear that theirs was a soul match and an invitation to connect.
Months later, Lindsay had a dream in which she was shuffling an oracle deck, only it was unlike any other deck she’d ever see. The card names reflected the work she does as an intuitive strategist and in her online community The Mystics Society. The energy was powerful. And the art? Well, it almost felt alive in the dream.
So just like that, from the ethers and dreamscape, the seed was planted and a journey began. The deck became a co-creation, a true labor of love, and a quest.
The deck you see here took a full three years to truly show itself and come into form. The Mystics Oracle Companion Book was another six months in the making. At every breath, Spirit walked alongside Sarah and Lindsay and guided their steps, words, and brush strokes.
Along the way, the cards curated and renamed themselves. The art evolved, transforming to better reflect the social, spiritual, and cultural influences of our times. Some secret messages and magical elements wove themselves into the cards and pages in ways that could never have been mapped in advance.
