I believe the best skin care products are found in nature. That’s why DIY face masks are a huge part of my skin care rotation. Plus, it’s a fun and creative way to set aside 15 – 20 minutes of self-care.
DIY Face Mask – Acai + Manuka Honey + Olive Oil
Acai berry is full of vitamins – A, C, and E in particular – which fight free radicals and brighten/tighten the face.
Honey is a natural humectant, which locks moisture into the skin. It’s also packed with antioxidants – and is anti-bacterial, anti-fungal, and anti-septic, which helps to repair and protect the skin. Manuka honey is a medicinal version.
Olive oil = huge moisture, lots of vitamins & nutrients for your lovely skin.
This mask is gently exfoliating and helps to brighten dull skin. Feel free to use it once per week.

Measuring spoons
Bowl
Washcloth
Materials
1 tbsp acai-berry powder (I use mountain rose herbs)

Instructions
- Measure out the acai-berry powder, manuka honey, and olive oil and mix together in a bowl.
- Apply the mixture to clean skin and let it sit for 10 – 15 minutes. Try not to get it everywhere like I did. 🙂
